The success of the summer Caravan tour led to the establishment in 1964 of the PDTA.

Professional Dance Teachers Association weekend conventions consist of a Saturday 'Stars of Tomorrow' competition and a Sunday of PDTA’s demanding technique Workshop. We tour January through May in more then 20 cities throughout the US and Canada!

The PDTA continues to raise the barre in professional dance, educating young dancers across the continent with our first-rate faculty, and rewarding excellence in dance at our exhilarating competitions. Come join us for a remarkable experience in dance!
